Bertie
born late 1995 - 'rescued' by me from RSPCA Leeds January
1996 ('about 4 monthsold they said'). Was starved
pup, bald - had to be fed bonemeal every 4 hours. And yet
he was so jolly - loved going back for check ups and had
the gentlest sweetest nature of any dog. In the picture
above he is twelve. He
died at home of old age, next to me on the sofa on Monday
5th July 2010. He will always be with us.(He was generally
thought to be a Bedlingtonxlurcher he was a bout 19 inches
high and weighed 20kg.)
