Women Workers Wish Inspired by
original 1914 banner of the NFWW. The National
Federation of Women Workers was founded by Mary
MacArthur in 1906 and fought for better pay
and conditions for women workers. It was not
supported by the Trade Union Movement as most
women workers were in domestic service and they
were seen as being unable to mobilise.
